Apna Task (agworkreport.tech and the Apna Task app) helps people and companies manage tasks, reminders, staff work and team chat. This page explains what we keep and why.

What we collect

Account: your name, email address, mobile number, company name (if you sign up as a company) and your password (stored only as a one-way hash).
Your work: tasks, notes, lists, labels, team members you add, chat messages (including photos and voice notes you send) and daily work reports. These are saved on our server so they are the same on all your devices.
Self Vault: passwords and documents in the vault are encrypted on your device before they are saved. We cannot read them.
Payments: plan, amount, date and receipt number. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store them. For UPI payments you send us the UTR number.
Website: a count of page visits (no advertising trackers). If you fill “Request a demo”, the details you type.

How we use it

To run your account: log in, sync between devices, reminders, team tasks and chat.
To send emails you need: log-in and verification codes, team invitations, task updates, work reports, weekly summaries (you can turn these off in Settings), receipts and plan reminders. Optional WhatsApp or SMS messages are sent only when switched on.
To give support and keep the service safe (for example blocking robots and abuse).

We do not sell your data and do not show ads.

Who can see your data

People in your team see the tasks, chats and reports shared with them. Staff see only their own work.
The Apna Task platform owner can see account details and, to help with support, view a workspace in read-only mode.
Service providers that run parts of the service: our web hosting, email, Razorpay (payments), Google (Google sign-in and encrypted backups) and, when used, WhatsApp/SMS providers.

Storage and backups

Data is kept on our hosting server and backed up regularly to a private Google Drive. Secret keys in backups are encrypted.

Your choices

Change your name, mobile and password any time in Settings → Account.
Delete your account: Settings → Account → “Delete my account”, or see this page. We remove your account and workspace within 30 days; payment records may be kept as required by law.

Children

Apna Task is meant for adults and businesses, not for children under 18.
